Jericho Spellborn unable to remove harmful effects from friendly targets

Using Jericho Spellborn in the iOS client, I am unable to remove harmful effects from any of my allies, as well as from Jericho himself. The cost is still payed for, but nothing happens. I've tried this with several effects (Freeze, poison), with no results.

I have found the same problem sometimes in the web client.

Thanks, Kyle! I truly like Jericho, and am glad I won't have to start over with one of those nicely (barely) dressed ladies, which would only pull my attention away from world domination
