I believe that is in the works already, in the cards remaining to finish the set. However, the human version probably won't have any cc restrictions like shriek will.

How so? You play shadowspawn, both heroes take 2 damage, and lose their shadow energy, if I'm not mistaken. I haven't played this card in awhile since it wasn't necessary in the current meta. You play your card, and your hero gets another card for free, and you don't lose any SE?

I play 1x Shadowspawn in my Majiya: I use her ability, then I play it.
I lose no SE and my opponent lose ALL his SE. And it's half a Fireball to him. Sometimes it can change the game.
