    Shadowspawn counterpart for humans

Hero abilities will change, all abilities will cost SE and 2cc abilities will disappear.
A card like Shadowspawn will become a lot stronger and it would help balance if humans had something to deal with SE, too.

I can think to something like that
Name: Enlighten the Shadows (human ability)
4cc (it must be the symmetric to Shadowspawn)
effect: your opponent loses 2 SE, draw a card.

You can say that SS wipes all SE while this gives advantage only to you, but usually I play SS when my are SE 0 or 1, so it is never symmetrical.
2 SE is not a huge gap but can make the difference and ruin opponent's plans.

    Opinions?

No. You have "Retreat!" Shadow has "Shadowspawn". What is the point of factions if they both have the exact same benefits?

Humans have allies, why shadows should have allies? What is the point of factions if they both have allies?

Lol I'm joking, but I'd like to have a card like that for humans. Not a must have, but it would be important to make choices less predictable.
A human hero cannot know when he will be able to use his ability while a shadow hero has nothing to fear.
So playing a shadow hero could probably become easier.
With current hero abilities the problem does not exist, but with the changes the wind will change.
That's not for sure, but it is likely.
    We'll see

Actually, Retreat is what Humans would do, not Shadow monsters. They dont run, they scare the living sh*t out of people. So Retreat should belong to Shadow factions to be used against Humans. The creators got it confused. Let's take it back now!

The art even shows a human running from a monster... ahh well, continuity never was all that important anyway

Shadow energy manipulation for both factions, yes. This card, no, it trumps shadowspawn in almost every aspect.
A1's man without qualities - Evolution in theory.

My cards ideas: for mages, for others

Songs about Wulven by: TV on the Radio, Babel, Warren Zevon

However much one kind of longs to see the actors in war outdo each other in cunning activity, finesse, and stratagem, still one has to admit that these qualities show themselves but little in history and have rarely been able to emerge from amongst the mass of relations and circumstances.
The reason for this is obvious enough: Strategy knows no other activity than the arrangement of combats with the measures which relate to it. It doesn't know, like ordinary life, actions that consist of mere words, i.e. expressions, declarations, etc. But these, which are inexpensive, are what the crafty one prefers to deceive with.
This sober truth is always felt through and through by the actor in war and therefore he ceases to fancy a game of shrewd agility. Necessity presses so hard into immediate action that there is no room left for it. In a word, the pieces on the strategical chessboard lack the mobility that is the element of stratagem and cunning. - CvC, On War

How so? You play shadowspawn, both heroes take 2 damage, and lose their shadow energy, if I'm not mistaken. I haven't played this card in awhile since it wasn't necessary in the current meta. You play your card, and your hero gets another card for free, and you don't lose any SE?
