In search of fastest AI deck

I've claimed many times that a Zaladar buff deck is the fastest deck against the AI but the fact of the matter is that's only my theory and may not reflect reality. I'm looking for the fastest AI decks and I'm hoping that if someone has a faster deck, that they share it with us.

In order to know what is the fastest, the first thing is to have some raw numbers and compare. So here are the numbers for my Zaladar buff deck. Matches were done back-to-back, against Amber Rain, with game speed 4. Deck composition at bottom.

    Match 01 - 1:47.4
    Match 02 - 2:43.3
    Match 03 - 2:12.9
    Match 04 - 2:16.8
    Match 05 - 2:49.9
Match 06 - 3:50.4 (no allies for awhile)
    Match 07 - 1:50.0
    Match 08 - 2:46.3
    Match 09 - 2:05.5
    Match 10 - 2:37.4

    Total time: 24:59.9
    Average per match: 2.5mins
    Achievable average per match: 3mins
    Hypothesized shortest: 1.5mins

Because I've been playing this deck for a long, long time now, my average time is fairly short. I pretty much go into auto-pilot while listen to music as I grind. However, I believe after 4 or 5 games, an easily achieveable average per match, for your average player, is 3mins with a Zaladar buff deck. If I remember correctly, none of the matches gave me early(got 3 or more by the 2nd turn) Sparks too. Which I hypothesize the shortest match with this deck could be as low as 1.5mins.

Afterthoughts: The option to statically set the camera and disable auto-zoom is coming so that will reduce AI match times. And naturally, once the AI programming improves and their decks are also tweaked, match times will increase. Too lazy to give play strategy for the deck but it's pretty straightforward.

    Codename: Viagralizer
    1 Zaladar
    4 Brutalis
    4 Fire Snake
    4 Spark
    4 Shard of Power
    4 Bloodlust
    3 Extra Sharp
    2 Bazaar
    4 Bad Santa

I find this to be a more efficient way to grind:

what turn do you usually win the game?

I get about 20 wins in an hour using a Eladwen/Portal Deck only against Gravebone, I usually win around turn 5-7

Just out of curiosity.... Is that fun?

I'm almost done playing against the AI because it's kinda boring. Do the opponents get harder? Or do you eventually start earning more for them? Playing the same deck against the same deck 20 times an hour sounds horrible to me. Are you basically just gold farming to try to get new cards?

@Jetrone The deck consistently wins on round 5; I'd say at least 50% of the time. Round 4 is about 1%. You usually win in either round 5 or 6 but there are times where you're unlucky and the AI gets lucky and you have 3 minute games. I'm curious, when you're really, really bored, could you maybe time a couple matches and see how long an average match takes for an Eladwen deck? I'm curious how other decks compare but too lazy to time it and all. I actually used an Eladwen AI grind deck before this one; this was when you could play more than one Aldon too.

@Steve It's not fun. Not fun at all. It's boring, monotonous grinding. At level 5, you see some new AIs and say goodbye to some of the old ones because you never see them again but they're all about the same. I don't think you ever earn more either, or at least no one's mentioned that they have. Yes, we're just farming gold, it is horrible; not just sound horrible.

My post above was not a joke. Assuming you can get your AI grinding down to 2 minutes per match, you earn 600 coins in one hour. If you were to spend $1 on shadow crystals, buy a starter, and sell all of the cards, you'd earn 1600 coins, more than twice as much. It is not hard to get $1 with an hour of mturk. :P

This thread is for finding a fast AI deck. Because currently anyways, you can't buy XP. Buying cards will help with gaining XP but you can't buy your levels. So those players that want to level up fast and can stand boring, boring grinding want a fast and consistent AI deck. Mind you, I completely agree that card packs are cheap and people that are just starting out are much better off just buying a couple starters than grinding for your cards; definitely time efficient.

XP doesn't get you anything other than shadow crystals at the moment. I don't think it's likely that XP will ever get you anything that shadow crystals and gold can't, but if you want to grind that stat, more power to you.

Yes, I'm gold farming, I don't have enough cash in real life to buy crystals and besides I'm too young to use a credit card.

    WIN.

Meanwhile, I'm gold farming because I can use a credit card but don't have one. I'm all for debit cards!
