It's a buildup card. Very nice, every TCG/CCG needs this type of card. Still, buildups are rather powerful unless the have a cap to their build. As I see no cap, that makes this guy extra powerful, a bit OP. With possibilities like bloodlust, extra sharp, shard, full moon, portal, hell, even hellsteed (which I still think is UP) can get this guy going really fast

Don't know if he needs a cap or not. It will be a bit difficult in the start to beat the first ally, when the battle for board control starts, especially if you are player 2. Puwen and Blake can both kill it. But later on yeah it can be a respectful unit.

He has 2hp. He's easy to kill. After 1 kill, he's still easy to kill. After 2 kills, he's as hard to kill as most common early-midgame allies. It's only once he hits 3 kills - which will be very rare - that he'd be really tough. That would require a significant card and resource investment for most decks, and most decks will have an answer to it also.

I think he's one of the best designed/balanced cards in the set, actually, and he isn't even mine

I never said he was totally OP. Just said that as a buildup, he has a lot of options for quick building, which can pile up pretty damn quick.

This is a good card. I'd play it through a Portal, for sure.

I'll put him in my Zaladar deck and infuse him. Place him behind those new shadow protectors (infuse these as well). I think I can get him to 5 kills.
