    Blight Revenger

Risk versus reward... are you willing to take the pain? The durability is pretty high to make sure that you can't get rid of the sword that easily.

    Durability: 8
Effect: Your hero suffers from poison and takes 1 damage per turn.

Love the idea, but think that 2 cost is too low. Would up the cost to 3 and lower durability to 6 or 7. It's a minor change, but I really do think 2 cost is overpowered in early play.

    My idea is somewhat similar.

    Name: Cursed Crystalline
Casting Cost: 4 or 5 (leaning towards 4 since an early break will be very hurtful)
    Attack: 4
    Durability: 4
Effect: When Cursed Crystalline leaves play your hero loses 16 life.
Flavor Text: "When it breaks, you break."

Good point. I was basing the 2-cost, 2-attack on Puwen Bloodhelm, the less broken of the 2-cost Human Allies. I was hoping that the 1 damage per turn penalty would offset the fact that a weapon is not as easy to destroy in the current state of the game. I love how your idea feels exactly opposite from my idea. The ability on the Blight Revenger makes it feel like the hero would want to get rid of it sooner to avoid too much damage, whereas the Cursed Crystalline makes it feel like the hero would want to hold onto the sword as long as possible.

4-cost seems better for the Cursed Crystalline, but I think the penalty damage should be lowered to 12 life. The potential 4x4=16 damage followed by 16 damage to your own hero, means there is no way to "get ahead." You can only hope to break even, and that's no fun in a game setting. With 12 life lost, you can either break even with 3 hits on the enemy hero, or get a chance to come out ahead if you connect all 4 times.

That having been said, I agree that 3-cost is probably better for the Blight Revenger (which, honestly, was a bad attempt to avoid calling it the Toxic Avenger). Also, just realized that my weapon was also giving a potential 2x8=16 damage. That's way too much for not enough penalty. So... it's either less potential output (your lower durability suggestion) or a bigger penalty (2 damage per turn).

(I think you commented on my least thought-out card submission on these forums, haha.)
