Getting 1300 crystals

Hey,
I just started this game about 5 hours ago and I really like it. I'm not a big spender but I love to support games that I believe have potential, and this is one of those. I'm spending $9.99 (and nothing more) which is equivalent to 1300 crystals. I was just wondering how I should spend it. Please be specific as to deck/card, quantity, and stuff like that. Currently I'm using the Nishaven deck but I'm getting slaughtered in multiplayer; this is also one of the few reasons I want to buy a better deck. Please suggest to me a strong deck for a newb like me.

Buy 13 elemental decks and sell them. Use the gold to buy the cards you need. To find the cards you need do some research into the different decks that are floating around in the strategy forum

well dont sell all the cards, but yeah, buy 1 of each starter deck then sell all the cards so you have 4 of each and then you just buy what you want with the gold, elemental decks used to sell for a little bit more, but its better to just get one of each deck in my opinion so you can change decks without spending as much

A strong deck for newbie ? Majiya, of course ! You can also try an Amber. And don't buy only elementals deck to sell the cards, if you want to play warrior, like Amber, buy one warrior pack & 3 elementals and you would be able to build a well tuned deck.

so should I get 2 Majiya decks and then sell all the cards that appear more than 4 times?

You have already a mage deck (nishaven) so buy only one majiya, sell all the cards that appear more than 4 times, and buy an elementals deck to get some more gold, you will have enought to buy all you need for a good Majiya. There is a lot of good Majiya deck in the forum strategy, you'll find easily what you need.
