Yeah I'd prefer a league format... More emphasis on the matches taking place then rather than "play if you can be bothered". This way, the games are set, say 2 per week, and you have the whole week to arrange and play them. Matches could be postponed a week for holidays maybe, but other than that, if you don't show, you lose the game.
