The game is running like molasses.

Ive just had a couple of weird glitches (playing on 1st gen Ipad). First, whenever I tried to create a game, I would never get an opponent and when I exited the match (which was pretty hard to do) I got the Defeat screen. So I reinstalled the game and it is now running very slow during the "attack" phase of the game.

Any ideas?

The default settings is game speed 2 so that may be why you're noticing the animations run slower. From the main menu, tap on the Options button and you'll be able to change the Game Speed from there.
