One of the servers was down earlier, which caused this, but it's online now and you should not be getting this message on a consistent basis. It is a generic message used by the client whenever it cannot connect to the server so if you run into network issues every now and then, you will see this come up.

We would be able to better troubleshoot the issue with more information on the problem. Are you getting this message consistently or intermittently? On which screens are you getting this message? Is it the web version or PC client that you're using?
I am getting this message on my iphone now.At first I cannot log in.now the error.tried World tab,Merchant tab (when buying anything). I have no problem with my network,as I can send this reply using tapatalk

We are working to resolve the problem but what's happening is the server load-balancing is sometimes causing problems with either computer or mobile clients from connecting to the server. If you can't connect on the computer, you should be able to on a mobile device; or vice versa. Server migrations to higher capacity servers is scheduled sometime this coming week.
