Who likes the rating system?

I've been playing SE since 1.24 but recently i have been really annoyed by the fact that even with a 90% winrate you can still go down in rating.

I just wanna see who likes the rating system as it is and who feels like a "win-1-get-1" kind of system would be better?

The quarterly tournaments that will be taking place in the future kinda make the all rating system issue meaningless. Right now the top ten players are the ones that achieved the correspondent position at the latest tournament, not the ten players with the highest PvP ranking. Ranking is important to match players with similar experience and card pools, but nothing else.

Until you get penalised for quitting a match on turn 1 because you are going second, then I think the ratings system will always be broken. I don't do that, but anyone who does is going to have a better chance of a higher rating.

Yeah repost but the squeaky wheel gets the oil. :-D This is especially interesting as it seems the average rating, at least at the times I play are dropping. It used to be there were one or two players that would be ~250. Now there are almost none. And I know it has been said before but like it or not the rankings are a much better way to keep players motivated to play and pay the team money. At this point there is no reason not to use the test server exclusively as you are much more likely to find high level game there.

I'm somewhat surprised that people complain about ranking when it necessarily means absolutely nothing other than having a 'nick' posted on a website. It's not even your full real name (unless your nick is your full name, but then you're just weird and asking for trouble). The system is broken, we all know this, but even if it were changed to something a little more viable, say..... X amount of points for a win, X amount for a tie, and X amount for a loss like it is for most other rating systems, it still isn't going to matter. /ratings rant

The rating system isn't designed to increese the e-penis of little kids, his purpose is to make a match making system work. If you want to see a number raise for the time spent playing you can try this links:
