"Snow Sapphire" sounds like two fruity adjectives with a missing noun (although I am aware that these words can be used as adj. or nouns, they sound like they are missing what they are describing, as the original was "Snow Sapphire System").

Yeah, it's bugged, but it's also been reported previously. If you visited its official thread, it would've kept you informed.

My hero, Boris, attacked the other hero, Eladwen, with Jeweler's Dream, then her SS froze him. On the next turn, with JD still in play, she attacked me. Boris and JD appeared next to EF and her weapon. She dealt non-fatal damage to him, but he did not defend with JD. This is a bug, right?

No, actually that part's working as it should. Targets afflicted with the frozen status cannot retaliate, just as they're not able to attack or use their ability.

It doesn't seem to stop my frozen hero from attacking though, either on the same turn (an archer) or on the following turn.

This armor would shut down archer decks if it did, but I assume it is supposed to. (Here's to a human item destruction card in the future)

Yes, it's a bug and it's also noted on the test server bug list.
