I have a DROIDX running 2.3 gingerbread. I've reinstalled the game 3 times and have tried to connect to the game via wifi, 3g and 1x, and for whatever reason it just gets stuck on "contacting server" and wont get past it. Any suggestions as to how to fix this? Also, my friend on an htc thunderbolt plays this game all the time and he has said that he has never had this issue. Any suggestions would be awesome! ! Thanks!
Is all other data working?
Are you running stock android or a custom rom?

1X is the voice network, data can be transmitted over it however it's worse than dial up.

No, everything is completely stock. But either way, no matter what network it still wont connect. It still just says "contacting server" ahhh!
Any ideas?
Try to start it in safe mode and see if that changes anything.
If safemode don't work I'd backup an master reset.
