I did it out of curiosity and it resulted in none of my allies being able to attack the opposing hero (not even the mind controlled one).
This is not the case when mind controlling Aeonso I guess it's not intentional?

Yeah, it's a bug in v1.25. It's actually on jiminee's bug list. Hopefully it'll be fixed in v1.26.
