    Corrupting Graphics Drivers

The game keeps corrupting my graphics card drivers.
    Nvidia 9800 GTX+.
I tried swithcing to browser mode.
No luck...does the same thing. Screen goes pixelated and locks up.
Doesnt happen with anything else...only shadowera. Game is unplayable
    at this time.
Please let me know if there is a fix or a patch in the works.

    Thanks

I believe the Unity stuff is mainly for the browser version.
This happens with the PC client or browser version.
This isnt a game error message...it corrupts the video card
drivers, locks up the display and will eventually shut down the card.
If I hard boot the computer, it reverts to VGA graphics and I have
to reinstall the drivers...at which point I'm back to normal.
I can play other games, watch videos etc...but as soon as I launch
    Shadow Era...boom !...graphics go nuts.

    Okay, try the following:
    1. Check if the cooling on your graphic card is blocked off with dust. I don't think this is the cause of your problem since you said other games work OK, but it wouldn't hurt to check.
    2. Uninstall your previous version of the graphic drivers and restart the computer.
    3. After the computer restarts, download Driver Sweeper from here (installer version):Driver Sweeper and install it.
    4. Next restart your computer and enter safe mode. When in safe mode start Driver Sweeper, make a tick mark next to Nvidia Display Drivers and click the Analyze button. After it shows all the registry entries and files leftover from your graphic card drivers click Clean. After it is done click Analyze again to see if it's all gone.
    5. Download the latest version of drivers for your graphic card (latest version is: 275.33). When installing drivers choose custom install and make a tick mark next to the clean install option.
    6. After you've installed the drivers, try and see if Shadow Era is working. If not, let me know.

Update...no problems on the TEST server.
    I'm running Vista Home Premium.
    Nvidia 8.17.12.7061
Happened on previous driver as well.
Dont know how the code is different on the TEST server.
but whatever it is, it prevents this problem for me.

You're using an older version of Nvidia drivers, 270.61. A newer version, 275.33, came out today. Check Nvidia's webpage. If you're planning on installing the newest drivers use the method I wrote above to be sure everything will work without a problem.

Thank you very much Plague. That worked.
I thought CCleaner was removing all the crap in the registry...
but I guess it was missing some stuff. I still wonder why Test server was different.
A question on Driver Sweeper...I'm assuming when it showed Nvidia chipset that
it meant the motherboard grapnics...so I left that alone.
And I just installed the 270.61 version again.

    Thanks again, Babooze

Yeah, that was for the Nvidia motherboard chipset driver. Other than that you have the option to clean Nvidia display drivers and the Physx drivers, if you want. As for me, I use Driver Sweeper when I'm installing new drivers and TuneUp Utilities for everything else. You're welcome
