[Bug or Intentional] Night Prowler can't works as its description

The description of Night Prowler mentions: "if your Hero deals damage to an opposing Hero, you take 1 card from their hand at random". But when hero Baduruu or Banebow deals damage using their ability with Night Prowler, nothing happen.
If it should works like this Intentionally, I think the description should change to "if your Hero deals damage to an opposing Hero with weapon, you take 1 card from their hand at random". Does it make sense?

It would obviously be too op for banebow just pinging you every 3 turns and stealing a card. It should be on weapon damage only.
