Somehow that thing looks kinda creepy. Maybe it's cause it's only Donkey's face and/or the seemingly off reproduction of the expression.

I think we have that 'gut' reaction that takes a lot into consideration, including things we may not be actively aware of but some is nagging some part of our brain... like when something doesn't seem right but you can't put a finger to it.
