KillTrend Freebie - Rogue Tourney Build

I have built this from scratch for the upcoming tournament. I'm not running it probably, because I think it has broken mechanics and I won't win a tournament on a "Lance+Aeon+Lay Low" OP combo. I called this the minute I heard Lance could use aeon and apparently early testing proves me right. Majiya might still be able to beat it with crazy card draw. Maybe even an exceptional Jericho. Other then that... I don't know. We'll see how things shake out by then. Until then, have at it boys and girls.

4 - Aeon

Spells:

4 - Lay Low
4 - Assassination
4 - Retreat
2 - Stop, Theif
3 - Recon
2 - Bazaar
2 - Bad Santa

Total - 40 Cards

If you go first use Blake and be aggressive. If you go second, use nightshade and play defensively. Once aeon drops, it's only a matter of time.

Majiya with shadowspawn will make lots of rogues cry on the upcoming tournament.

Majiya is always going to be T1 with her draw ability. She also isn't affected much by Aeon.

So you either need a Majiya deck that can beat Lance, Majiya and Jericho or a Jericho deck that can beat those three too. I think Amber could beat Rogues as well though, as there are only 4 item destruction cards to anyone, yet there are plenty of viable Warrior weapons.

Warriors won't see serious play in the tourney imo. Especially not a few rounds in. It will be all Majiya, Lance and some Jericho.

Majiya doesn't need shadowspawn. She's not going to kill Aeon drops anyway. And burn isn't effected by stealth.

What are you going to do with weapons if you can't attack anything because of the Aeon + Lance combo? Amber definitely isn't an option.

Only Majiya could maybe win, or else, with a lot of luck, maybe Jericho (or another mage, but you need luck, lots of it).

i know its a matter of time that all players find out that rogues are absolutely OP, but know they dont need to think how to make them so OP.
when i heard there would be a new hero class and they steal and kill (rogues), i hoped that the heros would be a T2, so i could play them and not being hated cause i jumped on the bandwagon like every player do to win. now i'm sad. xD
i will stay at jericho and majiya. lets see which of my decks is better
