When I use Tidal Wave with an opposing Molten Destroyer on the board, do I take any damage? Since it says 'killed', I am not sure whether it will trigger any 'when damaged' effect.

You will receive one damage per each MD killed. Since kill is done by damage.

Yep and 2 for each Deathbone.
so i have 3 birggit and an EP on the board when i cast TW, one of the birggit was resurrected by the EP... is this normal? if it is then its really cool strategy since your next ally will have protection.
If Tidal Wave is used, then Earthen Protector's ability should not trigger because all allies are dying at the same time. Ie, there is no first ally to die and for Earthen Protector to bring back. If an Earthen Protector brought back a Birgitte or any other ally after a Tidal Wave, this is a bug and you should report the game with your game name and your opponents so that it can be reviewed.

So...because the effect stacks, I could cast 4 Molten Destroyer and my opponent would take 4(!) damage per turn?
Awesome.

If your opponent is playing Evil Ascendant, multiple Molten Destroyers will screw him hard.
Yes, and not per turn only once. EA makes it per turn.
it would be interesting for me if there is a cap. I there are 2 possibilities of code the wave. 1 is to always ask what hp the allie on the board has and then make enough damage to kill him(for sw +2, and so on) or its just code as a rly high damage aoe nuke.
Because if you can buff allies infinity with Aeon or elementaris is there a cap where the wave cannot kill the allie anymore.
Or another question what format they use to save the health. Can there be an overflow?
