Sync error report thread

I don't know. The game was fast paced, nothing weird. Next turn I would finish him off and suddenly he takes his time, and says that. Few seconds later it's a sync error.

I looked at his history and he had around 4 or 5 other draws. Watching through some of them, I mostly saw sync error when he had board control or just turned the tide. To me it looks like he has one of those connections that encounters sync errors often. I could be wrong but if he was purposely causing the sync errors, he's doing it all wrong.

PlayDNA (237) vs Caliconan (240), game was finished 17 minutes ago. Sync Error and draw once opponent started to lose (and occurred very quickly, enough quick to think about some players actions that cause this error). It is not the first case that some players do something that cause the draws and victories...Angry on such people who don't like to play honestly...

I just started a game, went second, and after my turn three, I think my opponent disconnected. I got the Quit Timer, but had a command shell pinging www.shadowera.com on my PC while running the Standalone client.

I was given a Defeat, even though I had an ally in play and my opponent had none. The game does not appear in my history.

The IGN was m0ghedien (NOT the IGN in my sig, which is for GDC, should he wish to transfer shadow crystals).

Happened to me as well a few minutes ago. I wonder if it was a server-wide thing.

By the way, you should be pinging game.shadowera.com. I think pinging www.shadowera.com will just tell you if the forums are up.

Also I noticed that when this occurs and you try to refresh the rankings page, it either takes a long time to respond or when it does, it doesn't show you the ranking for the current season.

Thanks! I've made that change. The URL I had was sufficient to show that I was indeed maintaining my connection to the internet. Now, I may be able to see server hiccups.

Well, things seemed to work alright for a while, but now I am getting "contacting server, please wait" messages, followed eventually by an "error contacting server", while all the while I am pinging away successfully at game.shadowera.com
