No!!! i got something on during the regionals..... NO!!! Anyway good luck to all.
But quick question, as there are still some bugs with individual cards (if they exist), during the tournament if someone exploits the bug what would be the ruling?
Counter Deck + Stasis + Chronatag + Black Vise = Game Over!
Oh wait wrong game, wrong era.
*sigh* will be unable to join... will not be free during that time.
but... the next best thing to do is to watch.... So....
Apologies... since I don't want to sift through the 21 page tread. Two questions.
1) Will non-competitors be able to watch it live?
2) Will people be able to watch replays of the matches (at least the finals) ie will/can the replays be posted elsewhere for people to view?
maybe someone records the finals
as for watching, they are normal games on the test server so you can just hop into ongoing games and watch em like you normally do

Think we could get the OP to be updated as the dates and times become known? Simply because it is getting too hard for me to stay current with these 20+ pages to find out the latest info...you know?
How many rounds will there be?
Do rounds have a time limit?
Will there be a strict schedule? (round one at starts at this time round 2 starts at this time etc)
Is each round a single game or best of 3?
What about finals single game or best of 3?
How will first player be determined?
If a bug occurs during the game how will this be handled?
Great but this doesn't tell us if the new cards from 1.26 are allowed or can we only use cards that are part of the 1.25 set?
Considering 1.26 cards are still in beta and haven't been "released" I would assume they are not going to be allowed in an official tournament. I think most people are assuming the opposite so we need an answer on this.
Perhaps all the details just haven't been released but reading through this thread it seems very little planning was put into this and you're just making it up as you go when someoen asks a new question. I'm not saying you didn't plan things out it just comes across that way in this thread.

People will be able to watch any of the games live, and we will post video replays of the finals.
The number of swiss rounds depends on the number of people entered. The matches have an increased 5 minute total turn timeout. There will be a strict schedule for all matches. All rounds are best out of 3. First player is determined randomly, then it switches for the next game.
Bugs will be handled by judges on a case by case basis, but only major game problems will require a rematch (existing known bugs will be overlooked).

ok Thank you for the additional info.
Only thing im still not 100% sure on is if the beta cards are allowed in the tournament?
Also since it's best of 3 any rules/support going to be added for a side board?
(Even if it's down the road and not in this tournament.
The standard sb size for a 40 card deck set by other ccgs is around 7 cards.)
Also id like to suggest an addition prize for the first ever tournament player.
Let them work with the dev team to design a new hero.
Something to permanently immortalize their victory.
