    4.09 Portal Raikka

    Hero: Raikka Spellseeker (41 cards)

    Ally (23):
    4x Fire Snake
    4x Deathbone
    4x Frostflame Harpy
    3x Death Mage Thaddeus
    4x Sun-blighted One
    4x Flame Spitter

    Ability (12):
    4x Bad Santa
    4x Portal
    4x Supernova

    Item (5):
    1x Stun Turret
    4x Amulet of Conjuring

    Deck Code: 412576B

Raikka got many new tools in this update: Frostflame Harpy and buffs to Fire Snake and Deathbone. This made it possible to build a deck in which all allies have synergy with her ability. Cool ally for consideration is Slingblade Demon. With Portal out and Raikka's ability ready you can deal 12 damage with Slingblade and Harpy for just 5 resources. I decided not to include this neat combo to make early game more consistent instead. One thing to keep in mind while playing this deck against humans is to always have back up plan to deal with Braxnorian Solder. This version has Stun Turret as a tech for that scenario and you can also take him down with Harpy, DMT or Flame Spitter on board + Supernova, although that is very awkward. Alternatively you could try running Shadowbolts instead of Supernova.

With domination of fire mages I decided to take this one for a spin with that tweak of removing Supernova for Shadowbolt and it might be the case it is better regardless of fire immune allies being in the meta. Just helps with the Amulet and spamming Raikka's ability which is quite powerful with Portal.

I think you need to skew down the curve of the deck.

I would suggest to reselect allies based on their damage/cost efficiency. I have listed some of the calculations below:

Ally Cost Damage Max damage Efficiency Max efficiency
    *Fire Snake 1 2 4 2.00 4.00
    *Hellsteed. 1 2 3. 2.00 3.00
    *Rotling 1 2 3 2.00 3.00
    *Deathbone 2 4 6 2.00 3.00
    *Brutalis 2 2 3 1.00 1.50
    *Dark Flayer 2 2 3 1.00 1.50
    *Twisted Familiar 0 1 2 #DIV/0! #DIV/0!
    *Ironhide Karash 2 2 3 1.00 1.50
    *Feasterling 2 3 4 1.50 2.00
    *Harpy 2 2 4 1.00 2.00
    *DMT 3 3 5 1.00 1.67
    *SBO 3 4 6 1.33 2.00
    *Krygon 4 3 5 0.75 1.25
    *S. Demon 1 3 4 3.00 4.00
    *Flame Spitter 3 3 5 1.00 1.67

Thanks for feedback. I can see how lowering the curve would improve the deck but I think your calculations are bit off given that without SE ramp you won't get to use Raikka's ability often, so I think that SBO at least is needed.

I think 3 cc allies generally slow down the deck.

If SE ramp is critical, I would suggest to use child of aldmor instead.

Maximising 1cc allies is good for your deck as they have better synergies with Raikka ability, portal and amulet.

Tried this one. Child seemed like great addition.
