Team Juggernauts present the first Pro Tour event of 2021, Off the Grid!
Sign-ups start right now, and will complete on March 7th 2021, 23:59 gmt0. In order to sign up, reply to this thread saying “in” and state your in game name, and your telegram @. You are also required to fill a google form where you will submit your deck code. The link to the form will be available in the tg room created for this tournament. Only @NikVeles will have access to the output of the form before the event begins. Deck codes will be made public when the tournament starts.
FORMAT:
- Single elimination tournament with bo5 rounds
- 1 deck only, decklock for the whole tournament.
- You aren’t allowed to have cards of the Location type in your deck
We will not check the decklists before the start of the tournament, so make sure you don’t have any Location type cards in your deck or else you will be disqualified from the tournament.
RULES:
- FTA: Game 1 random. For the remaining games the player who lost the previous game decides who starts the next
- Deadlines are firm. No extensions. Each round will last roughly 1 week from Monday to Sunday. Exact times will be provided to you in the telegram room for each round. Winner of the match has to report the results in the comment section of this thread before the deadline for the round.
- If no match between 2 players was played and there was no “clear intention” from either player to arrange the match, the winner will be decided via coin toss.
We define “clear intention” as contacting your opponent via PM on telegram within 48h of the round start and stating your availability for the week.
- You are allowed to play your matches in advance, as soon as you have an opponent.
- In the event of loading a wrong deck, it is an automatic game loss, unless the opponent agrees to replay.
- If a player disconnects during a game, then they must take the game loss unless the opponent agrees to replay. Sync errors should be replayed with the same player going first. Games tied are replayed with the same player going first.
- Repeat warnings will not be given for misgivings in chat. Light trashtalk is to be expected, but slander, badgering, and harassment in chat will be met with your removal from the chat and / or event.
- In the event of an update happening mid-tournament, participants will have to stick to their initially submitted decklists even if some of the cards they use get nerfed/buffed/changed.
- ALL DECISIONS ARE FINAL.
