Fire Snake Overwhelm with Dark Infiltrator (Meme Deck)

Darkclaw is a weapon hero that gives itself ambush and +2 attack. The most common builds use very few allies, instead relying on weapons to deal damage. That version of Darkcalw is extremely competitive and strong, and Darkclaw is currently among the strongest heroes. Unfortunately, Darkclaw suffers from one main drawback: it's super boring to play (in my opinion). To make Darkclaw more fun, we have to completely rethink the deck.

    Version 1: Pure Overwhelm

    Hero: Darkclaw (44 cards)

    Ally (24):
    4x Fire Snake
    4x Hellsteed
    4x Rotling
    4x Caged Savage
    4x Barrenland Gremlin
    4x Wulven Prophet

    Ability (13):
    4x Bad Santa
    3x Blood Moon
    2x Dark Infiltrator
    4x Overwhelm

    Item (6):
    3x Bazaar
    3x Loom of Fate

    Deck Code: 633688B

Version 2: The same deck with some finishers

    Hero: Darkclaw (47 cards)

    Ally (24):
    4x Fire Snake
    4x Hellsteed
    4x Rotling
    4x Caged Savage
    4x Barrenland Gremlin
    4x Wulven Prophet

    Ability (13):
    4x Bad Santa
    3x Blood Moon
    2x Dark Infiltrator
    4x Overwhelm

    Item (9):
    3x Loom of Fate
    1x Meat Wagon
    3x Wrath of the Forest
    2x Gromm's Axe

    Deck Code: 694261B

Main idea: The heart of this deck is Dark Infiltrator, a 2cc attachment that makes all of your allies cost 1 less when your hero has ambush. We then run 20 1 cost allies and a card called Overwhelm, a 5cc card that deals 1 damage to the opposing hero and all opposing allies for each ally you control, and lets you draw a card after that. Normally, Overwhelm is too difficult to use effectively, because it is useless if you don't have allies on the board, but you will rarely have enough resources to summon a bunch of stuff and then use Overwhelm. That is not the case with this deck. Here, we can summon our allies for free, so it isn't that tough to summon 5-6 allies in one turn and then use Overwhelm on top of that.

Now, even though it costs nothing to summon all those allies, one main flaw is that this strategy quickly depletes your hand. To replenish the hand, we use a ton of draw cards to keep the engine going. Another flaw in this strategy is that Overwhelm is often not enough to finish the game all by itself. For that reason, version 2 also uses cards like Gromm's Axe to deal some extra damage in the late game (it works well with Caged Savage, as a bonus).

How competitive is this deck? This deck is not competitive. At all. But it may be one of the only times you'll get to use Fire Snake in a deck and gloriously troll your opponent at the same time. If you are looking for some fun and don't mind the losses, give this deck a try!
