An easier way to support Translations in all languages.

    Dev update July 31 2019:
    Translations
Full card translations, as a clickable translate button to start, then on the cards themselves once new card rendering system is complete
    Add Gameplay Polish
IN PROGRESS Instead of a full card image, use just the artwork and build the card in 3d including the card text. (can then support translations)

I am a Chinese player and I think it is incredibly difficult to separate the card text and the image, and it will also lose the style of Shadow Era’s beautiful cards.

I think the better way is to cover the cards by a shadow block with translated text to show the translations and it can be showed by a “Translate” button. Make an Excel rendering system and all translations can be done by players and the community.

I have uploaded some image of examples.

    Example of Shadowverse and Heartstone:

Shadowverse: The cards of Shadowverse don’t include text, the effect of cards can be only seen by clicking into the cards.

Heartstone: Translations are supported but the images are small and it is impossible to have a foil version. I think the cards of Shadow Era are much more beautiful than Heartstone.

The difficult points of translations are the position and arrangement of the card text. If the cards are only English supported, the text will always be perfect inside the card and easy to read. But it is too complicated to ensure the arrangement of the text is perfect for another language. Will the meaning of the text be broken?

    Example of imperfect arrangement:
Attach to target friendly ally. That
ally has +1 attack. When Blessed
Charge is targeted and removed, your
hero gains +1 shadow energy and all opposing
    allies take 2 arcane damage.

    Example of perfect arrangement:
Attach to target friendly ally. That ally has +1 attack.
When Blessed Charge is targeted and removed,
your hero gains +1 shadow energy
and all opposing allies take 2 arcane damage.
