    Preconstructed Deck Design Challenge

Back in July 2018, we added 7 new tuned 40-card pre-constructed decks for Boris, Eladwen, Victor, Zhanna, Serena, Darkclaw and Elementalis, which you can find in the Merchant under Pre-constructed Decks (they are 275SC each now, as opposed to 500SC, without the foil hero and sleeves).

It's about time that the other 25 heroes got their own decks that are of similar power/interest level to help new players! But rather than NikVeles devising them like last time, I think it should be a community effort ... and you should be rewarded accordingly.

    HOW THIS WORKS

    1. Check out the existing 7 decks to have an idea of the mixture of cards required and power level. We don't just want 9 cards with 4 copies each and 3 copies of another card and a hero. It's OK to not be the most perfectly tuned deck ever. There is an argument for having a little flexibility in anyway!

    2. Design your deck for one of the 25 heroes that doesn't have one of these already and EXPORT it from the in-game deckbuilder (which will copy the decklist and import code into your clipboard for you) and then paste it here. Or you can still use the web-based deckbuilder to do similar: http://www.shadowera.com/deck/#/build

    3. You will receive 500SC for each deck you share that at least one person thinks is a decent effort at this. You can only do one entry per hero and max 4 heroes.

    4. Be sure to check out other people's entries and say if you think they are decent to help everyone earn some SC.

    5. The "best" deck for each hero will be chosen some time in May (maybe by the Design Team?) for a bonus 500SC, then a thread will be made in the New Players section with all the deck lists and import codes to get hold of them.

    6. Any questions, post them below!

Thanks in advance for your efforts.

    This I can get behind.

Ok I tweaked this from the original list to hopefully make it fit the precon vibe a little better.. anyway this is what I came up with. In a1 chat we were talking about making a deck that features arthlyte pass. anmors call has anti synergy with the location as it exiles your two cost and you don’t get a resource but I’m rolling with it anyway because reasons.

    Hero: Banebow (40 cards)

    Ally (17):
    2x Sword Gobbler
    4x Krugal Trapper
    3x Krugal Braggart
    1x Rampant Krygon
    2x Sneerkrug
    1x Krugal Quickshot
    3x Shadow Knight
1x Drangis, Lord of the Hunt

    Ability (5):
    3x Hunter's Gambit
    2x Anmor's Call

    Item (14):
    1x Death Trap
    2x Ricochet Trap
    4x Camouflaged Foe
    2x Pathfinder's Machete
    3x Wrath of the Forest
    1x Spirit Shuriken
    1x Soul Seeker

    Location (3):
    3x Arthyle's Pass: Dead Man's Breach

    Deck Code: 833882B

I have a set of decks for weapon based heros:

    1. Logan

    Hero: Logan Stonebreaker (40 cards)

    Ally (12):
    4x Braxnorian Weaponsmith
    4x Yari Marksman
    2x Yari Plunderer
    2x Nanaya, Yari Conqueror

    Ability (15):
    4x Crippling Blow
    2x Smashing Blow
    4x Blood Frenzy
    3x Rest for the Weary
    1x Enrage
    1x Rampage

    Item (12):
    1x Boooomerang
    4x Pithing Spear
    1x Spectral Sabre
    2x Helm of Saymeht
    2x Gemstone Javelin
    2x Dragon's Tooth

    Deck Code: 644025B

A control/weapon based Logan which is good in an ally heavy meta.

Try to use weapon damages to slowly chip out opponent’s health.

    2. Gwen

    Hero: Gwenneth Truesight (40 cards)

    Ally (20):
    4x Layarian Knight
    3x Masked Bandit
    3x Aldon the Brave
    4x Layarian Seductress
    4x Snowland Spotter
    2x Viska, The Scarlet Blade

    Ability (13):
    3x Pack an Extra
    3x Retreat!
    3x Bad Santa
    4x Hunter's Gambit

    Item (6):
    4x Weevil-tipped Crossbow
    2x Soul Seeker

    Deck Code: 2693225B

A tempo based Gwen which is good at all levels of playing.

    3. Baduruu

    Hero: Baduruu (40 cards)

    Ally (13):
    4x Krugal Trapper
    3x Sneerkrug
    4x Snowland Spotter
2x Drangis, Lord of the Hunt

    Ability (8):
    4x Here Be Monsters
    4x Hunter's Gambit

    Item (14):
    4x Camouflaged Foe
    2x Night Prowler
    2x Soul Seeker
    3x Grundler's Double
    3x Emore Crossbow

    Location (4):
    4x Gaderi: Braxno Citadel

    Deck Code: 744756B

Gaderi needs some love. It is a very strong tempo swing on the turn it is played. Timing it preciously will steal a lot of wins from strong opponents.

    4. Amber

    Hero: Amber Rain (40 cards)

    Ally (18):
    3x Yari Bladedancer
    3x Layarian Knight
    2x Masked Bandit
    3x Aldon the Brave
    3x Priest of the Light
    4x Layarian Seductress

    Ability (12):
    4x Retreat!
    4x Bad Santa
    2x Desperate Tactics
    2x Smashing Blow

    Item (9):
    4x Jeweler's Dream
    1x Reserve Weapon
    4x Dimension Ripper

    Deck Code: 1793465B

Super aggro based Amber with bilateral draw and desperate tactics

    Ah yes.

The web deckbuilder shows the total gold cost when you view the deck with the menu button third from left or fourth from left. It's easy to import the deck with code and see.

For example, the Banebow deck list page (http://www.shadowera.com/deck/#/deck...e185x1:ll189x3) shows this:

    Hero: Banebow

    Allies (17):
    2x Sword Gobbler
    4x Krugal Trapper
    3x Krugal Braggart
    1x Rampant Krygon
    2x Sneerkrug
    1x Krugal Quickshot
    3x Shadow Knight
1x Drangis, Lord of the Hunt

    Abilities (5):
    3x Hunter's Gambit
    2x Anmor's Call

    Items (14):
    1x Death Trap
    2x Ricochet Trap
    4x Camouflaged Foe
    2x Pathfinder's Machete
    3x Wrath of the Forest
    1x Spirit Shuriken
    1x Soul Seeker

    Locations (3):
    3x Arthyle's Pass: Dead Man's Breach

    = 40 cards ~ 14680g

I dig this deck, it provides a solid basis for new players and it falls squarely within the cost criteria.

I don't know how to save the others without compromising their concept(s), as they fall outside the financial constraints. I like this version of your Gwen, but perhaps it and the Amber deck can be modified based on the versions in your aggro guide?

I think that sc transfer has been suspended for n unknown time due to some players abusing the transfering system. You should check on that cause you wont be able to give away the prizes. It started with a cap of 1k sc but now is total i think.
