Disarming Personality + Transmogrification Curse

Say my opponent plays King's Pride.
I used Disarming Personality on it, turning it into an ally, then use Transmogrification Curse on that ally, returning it back to the Items area with no defence/durability.

My question is, will my opponent be able to summon another King's Pride to replace the Cursed King's Pride? (since you cannot have 2 Item cards on the board with the same name)

Because they are different item types (one is artifact and the other one is armor) opponent will be able to summon their second King's Pride.

Another similar interaction is being able to have two Spiked Shield where first copy enters play as weapon and second as armor.
