    TJ dubdub Resource Destruction Bloodfang

This is the deck that I decided to take to WC 2018 this past weekend:
    Hero: Bloodfang (41 cards)

    Ally (23):
    3x Bloodpack Shaman
    2x Wulven Scout
    2x Dread Wolf
    4x Wulven Tinker
    4x Wulven Tactician
    2x Soothjaw
2x Howlfang, Terror of the Vale
    4x Crusher of the Weak

    Ability (12):
    3x Now You're Mine
    4x Blood Moon
    4x Here Be Monsters
    1x Ley Line Nexus

    Item (3):
3x Eye of the Dark Forest

    Location (2):
    2x Shold: Tempest Gorge

    Deck Code: 734199B

This deck might look similar, because it is the exact same list that BT Sigismund won the championship with. He clearly played much better than I did though Huge congratulations to him.

TJ Streetsahead and I were trying to brainstorm some ideas to test leading up to WC a few months ago. He pointed out that the non-controller side of Shold adds sustain to artifacts, and that he saw some potential with a resource destruction theme. Bloodfang seemed like the best choice to me, as RD Fang has been a deck for a while now but just wasn’t that great. But with the recent addition of Eye of the Dark Forrest, and earlier Crusher, it seemed like the concept could be worth considering again. After quite a bit of QM testing I found the deck to be extremely strong.

Once we saw 3 Javelin decks win regionals and some others qualify, I was really excited to take this list to Worlds, since I was already running Shold which is the best counter to those decks right now. My finish was pretty disappointing, but Sigismund proved that it is powerful.

Some tips for running this deck:
-It can be tricky to sequence Here be Monsters and Tactician, so practice this some to get the hang of it if you haven’t played this style of deck before.
-When playing Dread Wolf with Eye in play, remember that it has ambush even when attacking normally. Also, try to play it first if you are activating Eye to get another attack boost that turn.
-Typically, I found that you want to stop saccing at 6 resources. This is part of the reason that I left Riphide out of the list. There are situations where this may not be right, but you’re draw in the late game isn’t great, so unlikely that there will be many turns where you want to play multiple cards in a turn, and it is better to have the threats in hand rather than in the resource pile.
-There are some match ups where you need to abandon the RD plan early. Decks like rush mage require early answers to keep your life total high enough. Once they are trying to burn at the end of the game you can tax them with Tactician and HBM to keep them from casting Supernova.

Overall I think that this list is just really good at abusing some of the extremely (over?) powerful cards very well. I have seen some arguing that Shold is too good, but the real power comes from Eye and Crusher.

As always, feel free to leave comments here or PM me on Telegram. Again, huge congrats to Sigismund!

I had a similar list before with addition of midnight howl to the mix.

Like 2-3 copies would have changed a lot of bad matchups...you can give it a try
