Lightbulb New game mechanics for future development

Here's some new stuff I think the game would benefit from:

Choice: as in MTG and Hearthstone the choice mechanic would be also suitable for Shadow Era. Something like that has already been tried (Spectral Sabre for example) but what about choosing from two different abilities to activate, yet on the same cards? Also, this reminds me active abilities could be added to attachments.

Counter/stack: support abilities with duration and items with durability are two things, but what turn did I play Full Moon? When did I used Eladwen's ability on that ally? I think it would be great to add a counter bottom middle on a card. Also this would open the way to a whole new type of abilities.

    Nice.

I'd like to see a YuGiOh "Piercing" type ability, where when any extra damage gets dealt through to opposing hero. For instance, if your 5 attack ally kills an ally on 4HP, 1 damage gets dealt through to opposing hero.

In MtG there was similar "Trample" ability on allies if I remember correctly.

But counters on card for duration effects would be really great.
