Possible bug: Lythian Sledgehammer and Night Owl

I hit a Night Owl with my hero with Lythian Sledgehammer leading to the death of the night owl and it's exile per sledgehammers effect. However, my opponent drew a card from Night Owl dying. Is this correct behavior? I thought exile did not trigger death effects or is sledgehammer's exile different?

My guess would be not a bug. Sledgehammer still has to have killed the ally in order to exile it, so the on death ability should still happen I'd say.

Night Owl is meant to draw the card when killed, even if exiled due to Lythian Sledgehammer. The same goes for Tainted Oracle.
