    Logan and Smith

Ok, Logan sucks, xD just trying what I can to see if we can get a decent deck together.

Here is something I wanted to get opinions on

    Logan

    Allies: 20
4x Ironhide Karash (meta call with many rush elemental decks)
3x Morbid Acolyte (sticky body with useful ability against armor allies to help Logan kill)
3x Aldmor Artisan (sticky body with seek and cost reduction for Reserve Weapon)
4x Braxnorian Weaponsmith (allows me to run only 2x Jewelers Dream and focus on building board)
2x Yari Marksman (added control for rush decks)
2x Shadow Knight (immediate threat and recycle Weaponsmith or Marksman)
2x War Giant (hard to kill and annoying ally... you CANT USE VISKA IN SHADOW DECKS NOOB MANGO!!! -_-)

    Abilities: 13
4x Blood Frenzy (of course you have 4x :P)
4x Crippling Blow (best control card in game for cost. Great against Elemental rush)
    3x War Cry (secondary draw)
2x Smashing Blow (one of the best weapon/armor destruction abilities)

    Items: 7
2x Jewelers Dream (synergy with Acolyte, Crippling Blow, War Cry, Karash)
2x Reserve Weapon (makes your weapon count 6, only need 2 with Artisan)
2x Lythian Sledgehammer (best weapon in game especially if you return with Reserve Weapon)
1x The King’s Pride (Ultimate finishing move)

    Hero + 40

    Or... more weapon focused?

    Allies: 18
    4x Ironhide Karash
    4x Aldmor Artisan
    4x Braxnorian Weaponsmith
    3x Yari Marksman
    3x War Giant... not Viska

    Abilities: 13
    4x Blood Frenzy
    4x Crippling Blow
    3x War Cry
    2x Flurry of Blows

    Items: 9
    2x Jewelers Dream
    4x Reserve Weapon
    3x Lythian Sledgehammer

    Hero + 40

Again, this is just theory. Want to hear what people have to say.

    Thanks

I like the idea behind the deck. I like new Marksman quite a bit too and try to include 3 in my warrior decks, although since you are only running him as a Yari ally, maybe it's best to keep him at 2 instead.

I feel like you need more ways of dealing with opposing board though, since you don't have any hasted allies in the build. Flurry of blows might work, or perhaps sinkholes

I was running similar Logan for a while a month ago, and I found Killing Spree to be a very nice addition. It has perfect synergy with Jewelers Dream and War Cry

I was playing similar midrange Logan and Rothem, inspired by Maximont's games (I was totally not netdecking ).

That version uses Pithing Spear as main weapon and plays Sword Gobbler as main 2cc ally. T2 Gobler into T3 Pithing Spear is 5 power on board which is quite solid start. Early SE ramp is especially good for Rothem. 4 Marksman is in my opinion a must and I would avoid SK. He is too squishy and easily disabled nowdays. Marksman and DMT make it easier to finish off allies with Pithing Spear in turns where Logan's/Rothem's abilities are charging.

Maybe Maximont sees this and posts his deck as well. With more public decklists for Logan and Rothem they may become more popular choices.

I liked the idea of simply having an ally that is an immediate threat in Shadow Knight. I know it is a dated ally but if dropped at the right time, it can be a devastating play even these days. 3-4 Marksman is what I was considering before Shadow Knight. Poor guy gets no love these days.

I am familiar with Sword Gobler and Logan logan combo. It is ok. Not a favorite of mine. Also, I think players get so hung up on Pithing spear as a “must have” weapon for Logan. I honestly do not care for it much. Jewelers Dream is so much more versatile and helps with tempo and pace. That is why Amber kicks butt. She has a real ability though unlike Logan which also helps immensely.

Killing spree I have never liked. Needing to have 4 SE, a weapon, and an ability is too much to hope for imo. Not without watering down your deck in other ways. If someone can show me how they made it work, I will gladly listen.

Flurry of Blows... did seem fun but I didn’t know where to stick it. I could just drop it in on top of everything I have. With counting on Weaponsmith to draw me Weapon I suppose it wouldn’t hurt to go 42-45 cards

Logan with Killing spree and Piting spear has a great synergy with Phaedon Barbarian (he becomes readied when hero kills an ally). For me it was hard to play this combo but I have tried it for short time.

Yeah. That is just too much to count on. Having weapon + Spree + Ability is already situational enough. Having an ally in there as well is dreaming xD. The few times you get to pull it off you feel amazing. Haha. Other than that, meh.

I think how Hello said it is very simple but perfect. Logan is so weak after Ability. I just don’t know how to help support at this point

even tho it's weaker than Ter and Rothem it's still the best shot he can get

Ugh... Yeah. It does feel that way. Sadly, it just does not feel worth it when you play outside of those two heroes. Nowhere near as effective. That is why i did not bother with Ravager. I have already tried it in the past and just could not find something that did not feel like a garbage want to be of Ter and Rothem.
