[SD Offspring] Running Free: Hasted Zhanna

    SHADOW ROCKERS DECK

    Song: Running Free
    Artist: Iron Maiden
    Album: Iron Maiden (1980)

    "Just sixteen, a pickup truck
Out of money, out of luck
I've got nowhere to call my own
Hit the gas, and here I go"

    Hero: Zhanna Mist

    Allies (20):
    2x Kristoffer Wyld
    2x Aldon the Brave
    4x Fleet-footed Messenger
    2x Sabreen, Hand of Unaxio
    3x Tainted Oracle
    3x Viska, The Scarlet Blade
    4x Darklight Timelord

    Abilities (15):
    3x Retreat!
    4x Focused Prayer
    2x Zail's Hymn
    1x A Legend Rises
    4x Tidal Wave
    1x Mass Purification

    Items (7):
    4x Glass Chalice of Knowing
    3x The King's Pride

    = 43 cards ~ 18080g

It's being a while since I last faced Hasted Zhanna at rated. Most of players currently play only Attachment based Priests, but I believe this one can still have good results.

The strategy is quite simple: Cast The Kings Pride and then start to cast hasted allies every turn.
Timelord is probably your key ally here, since not only he has a great body, but also he will help you on draw in the late game (and can also be used to remove opposing key cards from graveyard, when you face Undeads or Gravebone, for example).

The best luck to all of you!

"I'm running free yeah, I'm running free
I'm running free yeah, Oh I'm running free

(Get out off my way, yeah!)"

Pretty sweet. I prefer running Wizen't Staff in a deck with Timelords so I have more SE left when they drop on the board. While Chalice "pick 1 out of 3 cards" ability is great, it drains the SE too fast so Timelords can often end up as must 2/6 with haste. Wizent's isn't that far behind in power either.

    For sure it makes sense.
I will try some games with Staff instead of Chalice and give you my feedback.
The whole point of using Chalice was to have a T2 option, while from T4 on Id try to focus on casting allies or Retreat/Hymn.

I'm not a good Priest player tho, so I often ask myself which draw cards suit better on my decks...
