    Elementals Draw Ability

    Hi guys,

I really think Elementals need a reliable and cheaper draw ability. It seems all other types can draw cards fairly easily while elementals pay a high cost for a lesser gain.

Antimatter - 2 cost to play and a further 3 cost to use to fraw 2 and discard 1. The 3 cost makes it near unuseable until 7 or 8th turn as whatever card you get more than likely cant be played until the following turn.

Stardust extractor - not bad but you really want your allies yo be around for a while. Reducing his health makes it easier for the opponent to take him out completely. And allies arent a great draw ability in general as they can be removed so easily.

Sacrificial lamb - have to give up one of your allies to use

Bad santa, crystal shards - opponent also benefits cards so hardly useful

If you compare these with how other types draw their cards Elementals are at a pretty big disadvantage. At least as far as I can see. Hunters draw cards like nobodies business, mages go nuts, wulven get one card a turn for a single 2 cost just by not being shrouded...

Elementals need something better than what they have. Withlut it costing a lot of cc or their placed allies

If you’re playing a discard theme, Antimatter is just perfect.
In other cases, Bad Santa is always the best option when you can have a better use of your cards. When your opponent trying so hard to draw cards, you give him a Santa when his hand was already full, BOOM!

You didn’t mention Falseblood Cultist, that card goes so well with elemental decks. I don’t think Elementals need a buff, they have some of the most powerful cards in the game - MC obviously and now Permeate, for example.

Not to mention the fact they have an insane number of cheap, steadfast allies (and by the way, a 1cc ally with 4 health and easy ability to grow it's attack WITH steadfast is ridiculous and needs an adjustment...no other 1cc ally even comes close...or make it neutral and see how many decks use it!. One solution would be to make it more restricted, like what was done with CoU...make it unique and cap it's attack gain, after all it is just a 1cc ally)

I agree elements have bad draw options but the point is they are very strong in other ways anyway imo if your playing a element hero use a archetype the will help you draw like undead or maybe homucolus, or aldmor maybe

    Agree with everyone else.

    1. Elementals have some of the most powerful cards in the game, fewer good drawing options seems like a fair trade.
    2. Falseblood Cultist with Brimstone Devourer and Reactorary is very good in Elementals, especially Zaladar.
    3. Stardust Extractor is pretty good even if you only get one draw out of it. Even better with Elementalis.
    4. Antimatter was poos in DP, but with the release of SF and cards that like being discarded its a decent option.
    5. Sacrificial Lamb is still one of the most powerful faction cards in the game.

Elementals with draw is insanity. Even with the limited draw they have available, Elementals still do very well in competition. That says quite a bit about the cards they have available to them.

They have Direct Damage and removal in 1, Mind Control

They have Board Wipe, Energy Disharge

They have heal options, Infinity Core

They have multiple allies with Steadfast, All stardust Allies.

They have intense buffs, Permeate and Exaltation

Draw can be an issue but with so many strong cards, it is always going to be a competitive class.
