bcuz it will make good synergy with resurrection

But that would drop synergy with new card: Ergon, Grand Inquisitor. And that interaction is major part of Ergon's flavor.

There are plenty of good options to draw cards from top of your deck for priest like Wizent's Staff, Elizabeth and Tainted Oracle.
