    Well, against Elementalis, those 1-2cc allies are heal bait. So that's why I said save the traps for when it's later in the game and you are making your push, those traps will slow down how much he can heal. Really the key against them is Prowler and getting lucky with stealing Renewal (and Shriek against AoA). You'll just survive to mill their deck and then renew yours. Always going to have a hard time against Elementalis (Zal is a bit easier).

    Raven? Aeon? If you have Behemoth and SS on the board, that's 9 damage. 11 with ability. No problem. That's why I also sometimes throw a death trap down T4 if I'm second, to fend off that T5 Raven. That's why I said Chimera or Death Trap.

    What i can recommend is making use of shadowspan. If you spawn turn 4 you can prevent abilities that would threaten your presence on the board (which you usually establish with Banebow's ability during turn 3 or 4). It also has its merits vs Elementalis, Ter Adun and occasionally Gravebone and Zhanna.

    Interesting! I totally missed that card when it came out since I was playing Gwen/Victor for awhile. Can see this being very useful, I'll give it a shot. Might swap it for Net Trap....?

    Wow, shadowspawn is really something. I use it with shriek (on research) in turn 5 against nishaven, and I totally control the board.

    Pssh, math. Who needs it. (I guess I do!)

    I had a 4th Gargoyle. But I've changed it up a bit already, will update once I'm happy with it (defeated two Elementalis tonight with the added Shadowspawn. Interesting card, just don't forget to use your own ability before you cast it! D'oh!!)

    Thanks to Sisyphos, Shadowspawn save my butt many time. And it can do a surprise direct damage.
