What's the reasoning behind the 25 year split? This tournament seems quite racist as a Pro Tour event, the average age of tournament players is much higher.
So players in the 25+ bracket will have to work a lot more than 25- bracket, since there are many more players in the first bracket.
At this point I could ask for a tournament to be approved where there's a bracket for players which nickname starts with a vowel and another bracket for consonants... I hope you treat the 2 brackets as 2 different tournaments for the sake of Pro Tour points.

It was simply to give a unique way to divide the community out of their respective guilds and usual groupings.

However, if towards the end there is far more 25+ I may move it to 30 to better even the sides.

However, your main point on PT Points is legit. I will bring that up.
