Another question I thought of: Is there any particular reason remove abilities + exile was chosen over simply killing the ally and returning it? Is it just so it wouldn't be able to trigger on death stuff like Oggy? Or is it just a flavor thing, like because these Elemental allies (many with Steadfast) are "regressing" to Aldmor status, exiling them represents that "downgrade" as it where?

It's both reasons. What I wanted was a way to reset a card back to defaults and have Aldmor alignment. Remove from game and bring back immediately is the simplest.

The problem to which ally this card can be used I only can think of reactorary :/ which is bad give us good ele ally give it no ability but good stats
