Eladwen vs Elemantalis - "Elemental Encounter" [Hard***]

Can someone clue me in on how to defeat Elementalis when he starts the board with 3 Sparks and just keeps rolling them out as they stack their stats? Please and thank you!

Kristoffer Wyld + Aldon the Brave. Also u can try Arcane Burst, Retreat, Clinging Webs, Meteor shower or Sinkhole.
Probably best idea is to play Location Yahari: Valley of Doom. So u can clean the board.

So my solution is Location Valley of Doom - 400 Gold

    Yoyo my friend

For starting players, the first thing you should purchase is Platinum Chainmail It helps with reducing damage from 3 cost or less allies from opponents and your allies deal 1 more damage to theirs. Get 3x copies.

Let me check out the starting deck for Eladwen and see what I can figure out

Also, check out Mine and Cats signature for access to our Shadow Era Telegram rooms!

A good way to tackle those is to throw in stall cards like Rain delay, Consuming fear to help you reduce the damage until you can either Play Valley of Doom as Catalina suggester, or a Supernova. If you can reach that point without being nearly dead you will establish board control with ease and win the game.

Meteor Shower is also a great tool to get rid of lots of small allies.

Thank you guys so much for the tips and suggestions! However, I am still struggling with this one. Whatever I do, it doesn't seem to be fast enough and I'm starting to think it's impossible

Here's how a round typically goes given 1 more resource each turn...

    Turn 1:
As Eladwen play Kris, or nothing.
Elementalis starts with 3 Sparks with stats of 3/3. He plays 1 more spark so he ends turn 1 with 4 Sparks at 4/4 but none can attack yet.

    Turn 2:
As Eladwen I can exile a Spark, stall a Spark, or rain delay.
Elementalis will play 2 more Sparks this turn.
If I killed a Spark, Elementalis now has 5 Sparks at 5/5 where 3 can now attack. I take 15 damage. (11/26 health left).
If I stalled a Spark, he now has 6 Sparks at 6/6 and 3 can attack. I take 18 damage. (8/26 health left).
If I rain delay, he still has 6 Sparks at 6/6 and I only delay the inevitable. (26/26 health left)

    Turn 3:
As Eladwen, I can't play rain delay back to back so I have to stall or exile another Spark.
Elementalist plays his last Spark and now has either six 6/6 Sparks or seven 7/7 Sparks, rain delay lifts, and I'm dead...

I can take damage in round 2, rain delay turn 3, then play Valley of doom turn 4 but I can't use the ability and then im dead on turn 4...

    What am I missing here?

    Thanks again!

My advice would be to play Groundshift. It would make them into 1/1's since their ability would be removed. This could stall them out until you have a reasonable way of dealing with them, rather it be Valley of Doom, Supernova, Arcane Burst, ect. If you played an ally on T1, then it can kill a spark on T2 when you play groundshift. You could also use Static Shock to take care of two of them after using Groundshift as well. If you wish to go with Valley of Doom. My advice would be to use Child of Aldmor to get the Shadow Energy you're missing in combination with Groundshift or Rain Delay to ward off damage. You could also use Kristopher Wyld + Layarian Diplomat to remove their ability as well if you didn't want to go down the Valley of Doom route.

Hopefully that helps! Let me know how it goes!

THIS WAS IT!! Thank you Demnchi!! I just started playing and didnt know Groundshift existed haha. I just alternated rain delay and ground shift until I could clear the board with valley of doom! I cant believe I missed/forgot about this card when I was going through the merchant before. I can't thank you enough for ending my frustration! I can finally move on with my life haha.
