So what is the warrior ally class suppose to be in this game? A waste?

So can someone tell me what exactly the warrior allies theme is suppose to be?

We have 1 protector card.
No damage reduction.
No ability reduction.
1 useless overcosted haste ally.
No Defender.

and Yet human gets Dmg Reduction on Homonculus, Twilight multiple buffs, human defender, human haste.

Why was a warrior class even made in this game for allies if they do not do anything a warrior class of allies would do.

Warriors are meant to be kings of the Combat Phase. Let's take a look at all their allies and see whether this applies to them:

Braxnorian Temptress - When ATTACKED ... DEFENDER .. WEAPONS are returned ...
Yari Bladedancer - ... other friendly ally has +X ATTACK ...
Yari Spearman - PROTECTOR ... +1 ATTACK ...
Yari Vanguard - ... has +1 ATTACK.
Stalwart Battleguard - ... has +2 ATTACK ...
Wild Berserker - ... has +2 ATTACK while in COMBAT ... HASTE.
Xander - ... +1 ATTACK ...


The only two that don't specifically do anything related to the Combat phase are these:

Braxnorian Veteran returns your Warrior attachments to your hand.
Yari Marksman, which exists to help out with their biggest weakness of struggling against a very full board.


Let's bring in the new allies as well though:

Braxnorian Weaponsmith - ... seek a WEAPON ...
Yari Plunderer - target WEAPON in a graveyard is returned to play under your control ...
War Giant - All COMBAT DAMAGE to War Giant is reduced by 1. While ... ATTACKING ... When War Giant deals COMBAT DAMAGE ...

Yari Bladedancer - ... other friendly ally has +X ATTACK ... Good use warrior card.
Yari Spearman - PROTECTOR ... +1 ATTACK ... Love this card and I think its a great warrior card
Yari Vanguard - ... has +1 ATTACK. Not terribly used because it has to be only yari to receive this buff of +1 attack. Change to if all warrior allies on board.
Stalwart Battleguard - ... has +2 ATTACK ... Once again its never used because you can only have this ally on the board, which doesn't mesh well for warriors. Change to if all allies are warriors then buff is received.
Wild Berserker - ... has +2 ATTACK while in COMBAT ... HASTE. Almost useless because of high cost and rare use time. Change to always have haste would see play again.
Xander - ... +1 ATTACK ... Never used because of better options out there for such a high cost card. Change to all yari allies have +1 att + 1 Hp
