Wow, I knew someone must come from that direction! Even though it was a long time ago, I'm still happy to see both games up and running.

Searched the appstore for card games, still do, and even now it's the one I enjoy the most.

I found it on the app store looking for a card game. Then I realized Kyle was also a developer of battle for wesnoth. Game that I liked so much. I created an account with an old mail I don't own anymore. Then I left for about two years. Then I came back with another account and a new mail.

It looks like a common theme:

I think I was looking for iOS games in the Apple store. I had devices on all four platforms at the time: Android, iOS, MacOS, and PC and was enjoying Battle for Wes'noth on PC and Mac. Shadow Era had good user reviews, particularly for its honest free-to-play, low-investment-requirement qualities. Kyle was well-regarded for his Wes'noth iOS port and I would have purchased that if he had continued to support it.

The sync errors and disconnects were maddening at times, but the game was fascinating and beautiful. I loved it immediately. I'm still trying to become good at it....
