    Articles and Guides: The Archive

    Hello everyone!

Over the years some of the best and most experienced players of Shadow Era contributed to the game by sharing their knowledge and wisdom in forms of many articles. They are useful for new players to learn the game faster, intermediate players to improve their skill but also other high skill players to exchange and reevaluate opinions. I bring you the list of those articles I collected over the years neatly categorised based on similar topics for your convenience. Some of them were written long time ago and may not mention cards from the most recent expansions but the core idea remains the same. Hopefully you can find something to help you improve so you get overall better experience playing Shadow Era.

I dusted this list from shelves of ETC forums. I removed really outdated ones like IRC guides and what not but there are still some with incomplete information. Nevertheless they are still useful for getting the overall feel of how the game should be played. If I missed some please post a link so they can be added.

This is a great list for people to work their way through. Thanks so much, Veles!

Not only that, it's damn easy-pickings for someone to make their own content too.

    1. Read an article.
    2. Make a new one called "NAME OF ORIGINAL ARTICLE: REVISITED" (or whatever you like) that links to original and credits original author and then just say what's still true and what has changed and then add some of your own insights.
    3. Profit?

    OR

    1. Read an article.
    2. Make a youtube video called "NAME OF ORIGINAL ARTICLE: REVISITED" (or whatever you like) where you read it out the original article and just give your commentary as you go on what's still true, what was never true (if you disagree with it), what's no longer true and then add some of your own stuff. People like videos, especially ones they can mostly just listen to. Stick a link to the original article in description and credit the author.
    3. Profit?

Budding article-writer or video-maker?? ^^ That's a good place to start and help out this game as well.

Great job! I've stickied this and unstickied those that are already included in this list and/or outdated.

The amount of time and effort you put into this is quite impressive. The game is always better with people like you around. I hope you stay as long as humanly possible. I’m sure we will all be better off for it.
