Help us to improve the 2-star and 3-star missions for great rewards!

Due to development constraints before launch of the single-player campaign, pretty much the only difference between 1-star, 2-star and 3-star missions *right now* is the board set-up for opponent at the start of the mission.

From the perspective of the Board of Directors, we accept this decision (taken before we were appointed) was a reasonable starting point for releasing something finally, but this is not where we'd like it to be ... and I'm fairly sure you'll agree!

What can you do to help?

    1. Provide feedback on how we could tweak the opponent's board set-up

If you think a mission was too hard or easy due to the board set-up at the start, please let us know on this thread. To make it easier to digest your feedback, please use this kind of format:

Boris Map 1 Mission 5 - 3-star is too hard so remove 1x Spark
Amber Map 2 Mission 1 - 3-star is too easy so add 1x Molten Destroyer to the board

Constraints: We can only have CotC and CP cards in these missions (since it's set in the CotC era) and we can't currently have attachments in play at the start - only allies, items and support abilities.

    2. Suggest tweaks to the decks for 2-star and 3-star

As I mentioned above, the differences between decks between 1-star, 2-star and 3-star are *almost* non-existent *currently*.

For this reason, if you are finding any too hard, then try harder (or ask for a tweak to make the board set-up easier)!

But, if you think some are too easy or too repetitive when you get to 2-star and 3-star then this is the place to suggest cards to be added.

Constraints: We can only have CotC and CP cards in these missions (since it's set in the CotC era). You can have a maximum of 9 copies of each card (as opposed to the usual 4 copy limit).

    3. Suggest entirely different decks for 2-star and 3-star

Providing you keep the hero the same, and only use CotC and CP cards, then you can propose entirely new decks for the different star levels!

The easiest way to share this with us is in a list of card names like you see here or make the deck in game and play a Custom Match with the password 'campaign' and then post here telling us which IGN you used and which mission and star level it is intended for.

Constraints: We can only have CotC and CP cards in these missions (since it's set in the CotC era). You can have a maximum of 9 copies of each card (as opposed to the usual 4 copy limit).

    What about rewards?

In keeping with the rewards you get for opening Campaign Chests, anyone contributing here in a meaningful way will receive at least one random foil. The more you help, the more you will get!

Thanks in advance for any help you can give. Whatever you can volunteer here will free us up to do development work on other areas.

For Rewards, For the most part the random foils have for me turned out to be cards that I would not use in any of my decks. To remedy that how about alternative art foil cards or maybe even cards that are not in the merchant like Colossus Scourge. In regards to the Star levels, I would suggest in addition to harder starting points how about something like for 2 stars you must win without playing a certain type of card like weapons or armor, or win without playing 4 allies. The reason for this is what I have come to realize is in order to win those 2-3 star levels all you have to have is a bigger deck size. You have all these end game result where it says how many allies played or took 100 damage and use those to incorporate into your star levels. I understand you want Shadow Era to be unique and all but maybe incorporating a few ideas from other games would be beneficial like games MTG puzzle quest.

I think programing the AI to try to kill allies and use its ability as intended is a must.

If these corections are done we would be talking about a total diffent campaing. The bad thing is that these changes imo should be implemented sooner than later. After that tweaking to perfected them should worth more the effort.

Spending your time and resources somewhere else than the AI seems like the work for improoving the campaing must be done twice at least.

(I dont feel good writing this post, as you propably already know the things i mentioned, but i felt like remindinng you )
