I do have a concern about how these positions are paid. While I understand that they will be paid in Shadow Tokens that we then sell for our local currency (using this Waves wallet as an intermediary if I understand correctly), what I'm not clear on is if we are able to cash these tokens in the moment we are paid in them or not. While I get we can hold onto them in case value rises, that kind of thing is secondary to steady flow of income, hence my concern. While I do currently plan to apply for a few positions, I would like a better understanding of the payment process and how secure the monthly payouts will be if I (or anyone else) is to seriously consider using this method as payment for a job. More clarification would certainly be appreciated, please and thank you in advance!

Also, is it possible for one person to hold more than one position if possible?(Like a designer also being a part of the board of directors, or a Community Leader being a part of the Promoters) Don't plan on it, just curious.

Does this mean we can't host tournaments anymore or help the community by writing my power rankings on the forums without applying

Yes the tokens will be publicly traded on a decentralized market so you can sell them immediately if you don't want to hold them. But the point in paying in ST instead of cash is to generate trading volume and liquidity for all token holders. If there are no other buyers we will always buy back because we need to pay out ST every month.

It's certainly possible, if you have the time available. Since it's a paid position you can also indicate you would like to do part time as a few positions, for example be on the board and also a community leader.

8-player tournaments will soon be automated, so we won't provide rewards for those. But you're always welcome to host other tournaments or contribute to the community in other ways!

    Cool!

Are there more details on each position posted somewhere else? Such as the essential job functions, experience requirements, and level of compensation (as in, what should a game designer expect to be compensated versus a what community manager might be compensated)?

    Applied

[QUOTE=Kyle;601089]You can read full details about Shadow Tokens and the available positions for hire at http://www.shadowera.com/tokens/

I applied for the positions of Community Leader, Support Staff and Promoter. If I were given a community leader position I would do daily promotions and even use my Shadow Tokens to fund giveaways and more. I've done 2 youtube videos featuring Mage Game-play and The Market.

I like the idea of being paid in Shadow Tokens cause that gives me the ability to fund promotions and gives the ability to have a say in the games development. I think the Shadow Token format is a GOOD idea.

I hope I get hired because I'm really enthusiastic about the product and the shadow token concept.
