FAQ:
Q: How does the game timer option work?
A: The game timer is similar to a chess clock. Both players will be given 5 mins each. When your turn begins, your timer starts. When you end your turn, your timer pauses and opponent's clock is turned on.The game continues as a normal game. However, if your timer runs out of time, you lose - even if you had a winning position. The clock forces you to play a little faster and creates a little added stress. If you play quickly, 5 minute games are sufficient to play at least 15-20 turns.
