    3.17 [Frosty!!] Eladwen Frostmire

Disclaimer: I made this deck for shifts and giggles, so I'm not sure how well it'll do in higher level ranked play.

The Basic gist of this deck is to keep your opponent off the board with Voice of Winter while making its frozen effect beneficial to you (remember it freezes all summoned allies including yours) by utilizing your own (and your opponent's) frozen allies and their passive abilities to provide buffs to your ally cards that are immune to being frozen. Bonus: This Deck also has a very low resource curve.

I hope you enjoy this deck. Feel free to comment/add your own insights.

    Deck Type: Hybrid rush/stall

    ---------------------------------------
    Hero: Eladwen Frostmire

    Allies (26):
    4x Cinderborn Fatebreaker
    4x Vigilant Wisp
    4x Entangled Wisp
    2x Armored Packbeast
    3x Artful Squire
    4x Stalactitan
    4x Frosted Urigon

    Abilities (9):
    4x Retreat!
    4x Fireball
    2x Ley Line Nexus

    Items (4):
    4x Voice of Winter

    = 40 cards ~ 13020g

    ------------------------------

    Why these cards?

Vigilant wisp is a great draw engine card. Not only can you use it to keep your hand filled with allies, it has enough HP to act as a soft tank in the early game, and can deal good damage to allies when synced with Entangled Wisps.

Cinderborn Fatebreaker is a great early cast card; it has good ATk/HP for it's cast cost (CC) and it's passive can be save your important allies against 3CC damage abilities (even while it's frozen). Also syncs well with Entangled wisps.

Entangled Wisp syncs with all but two ally cards in this deck by providing buffs to attack for each humunculus ally in play (even while Entangled Wisps is frozen/diabled!) Further, this ability stacks if you have other Entangled Wisps.

Armored Packbeast provides passive healing for your hero and allies (even while Armored Packbeast is frozen/disabled) moreover, it's healing ability stacks with other armored packbeasts. When Paired with Entangle Wisps, you can use Armored Packbeast as an off tank utilizing its -2 damage reduction passive to safely wear down the durability of most hero weapons.

Artful squire is useful to get rid of early game items/artifacts. Late in the match you can use him to buff Stalactitan via freezing if Voice of Winter is active. otherwise He's a decent T4 ally.

Stalactiatian- The star of this build, immune to frozen and can be cast while Voice of Winter is active. Get's an attack buff for each frozen ally (yours and opponent's) on the board, and can freeze allies on its own. Syncs well with Entangled Wisps.

Frosted Urigon - Can be used while Voice of Winter is active. Syncs well with Stalactitan as Frosted Urigon will freeze allies it attacks thus buffing Stalactitan.

Retreat - Great for forcing unfrozen opposing allies (while Voice of Winter is active) off the board or returning injured allies to your hand.

Fireball - with 3cc it's a great tool to regain/maintain early board control, bypass stealth, rain delay, etc.

Ley Line Nexus - Use this to get rid of any 5cc item that artful squire cannot get rid of.

Voice of winter - Keep your enemy's and your allies frozen (keeping Stalactitan buffed); giving you board control.

Eldawin - Her Ability works well with Stalactitan's passive.

    -------------------------------------------------
    Weaknesses

Be mindful of mage decks with Supernova/Stalactitans and Frost Urigons, Priests decks with Tidal wave, and Elemental decks. note: Besides Frost Urigon and Stalactitans, the one other ally card immune to frozen is Dakrath.
    --------------------------------------------------

The Ebb and Flow of an ideal the match:

T1: sacrafice - at this point don't be afraid to sacrafice any 4/5cc card as you won't be needing them; you're likely draw it again later.

T2: sacrafice - your goal here is to cast Viglant Wisp (VW) if you have it in your hand. VW is important because it's seek ability will be your
    primary draw engine.
If you don't have a VW, you can play cinderborn fatebreaker (CF) to get early board presence. In the unlikely even that you
don't have any 2cc allies. Hold onto any Entagled Wisps (EW) you may have in your hand (they'll be important in getting board
    control during T3.)

T3: Sacrafice - Again don't be afraid to sacrafice any 5cc card you have for resources. However, if you have Voice of Winter (VoW) you might
want to save it for a potential T5 cast. At this point, if you have a VW on the board, use its seek ability and place an Entagled
Wisp (EW) in your hand. However, if you don't have a VW in play, try to cast an EW during this turn if you're able. The EW's
Passive ability here is key to helping you clear the board of enemy allies. Going forward, you'd want to cast any EWs you have
    in your hand.

T4: Sacrafice - Assuming you have a VW in play, uses it's seek ability to place another EW in your hand. Cast the EW. If you already have a
If not, cast an EW if possible.

T5: Sacrafice - If you Have VoW, now's the time to cast it. If not, cast another EW ( boosting your current allies attacks
enough to kill most allies.) Should you find yourself without a VoW focus on casting EWs until you can get a VoW on the
    board.

T6: Sacrafice - Assuming you casted VoW in T5, and have a VW in play; use your VW's seek ability to place Stalactitan in your hand. Cast the
Stalacitian. From this point forward, any ally that comes into play will be frozen. These Frozen allies will buff your Stalactiatn's
attack by 1 for each frozen ally. Moreover, if you have any EW's not in play, you can still cast them and they'll grant their
passive buff to the Stalactiatan along with the buff Stalactatin receives from frozen allies.

T7: Sacrafice - assuming you still have VoW and Stalactitan out, you're free to play what ever card to you like. You can Cast Frosted Urgion
which is immune to being frozen to supplement your Stalactiatan by preventing allies from thawing. You can continue to
cast other allies like armored pack beast to buff the Stalactitan and provide healing, etc. The possibilities are endless!

Hello, very nice explanations about the mindset of the deck!

I tried some builds to match the frost theme and I came out with something a bit more different in the end :
An hybrid Electrical / Frost deck as Nishaven. It doesn't feel very competitve either but definitly fun !
You may want to try it too if you like this kind of playstyle !

Good luck in your further games and have fun !
