When praxis uses his skill and the end damage kills the knight templar, the knight Templar goes in the graveyard and not on top of the resource pile.

Sounds like something else was going on. Do you have a game reference? It's likely that either groundshift was in play, or shocking grasp was attached to the devoted knight

No shocking grasp or grounds hit applied per recollection. But good observation...it seemed odd but it happened. I unfortunately do not have the game reference.
