Thunderstrike Construct vs. Stoneskin

1) I have out Barrenland Gremlin with Stoneskin and Spontaneous Growth; Gremlin is attacked so has 2 health
2) Opponent casts Thunderstrike Construct and targets said Gremlin with ability
3) Gremlin dies (as if it took 2 damage)

this is a bug - the on-summon targeted ability should be cancelled by Stoneskin, and Stoneskin should be destroyed (just like DMT)

I'm pretty sure on ability of thunderstrike it says.opposing ally 2 health reduced so maybe cause of that it's not like giving dmg.


But it's still ability of thundestrike so I would like a better info from senior members about this.

That's not the point. If an ally with Stoneskin is targeted by an ability, that ability should be canceled and Stoneskin destroyed. The nature of that ability is irrelevant. Thunderstrike says "target ally" so it should be cancelled (just like DMT)

Gremlin is being targeted and so Stoneskin should trigger and gremlin survive.

Side note if Spontaneous Growth was targeted, Stoneskin would not trigger

For the record, Trevor Jacob's has two different battles against wolfsrain85. The one in question however is the first battle. From the looks of it, it does indeed seem to have been a bug. The health reduction should have been negated by the stoneskin

Doesn't matter - it's a targeted ability that should be cancelled by Stoneskin
