Hi all!
I'm very pleased to announce a new contest I will be running in my own time for fun (mine and yours), which will pit the best of the best against each other using the 20 CotC starter decks plus a limited number of their own additions. It will operate as a series, with each opponent between drawn at random and the best-of-five match being streamed on my channel and exported to YouTube afterwards.
More detailed example of how it will work:
1. Twenty players are selected by me to take part. They don't have a hero assigned.
2. Two players will be selected at random and assigned a CotC hero at random to use on Match Day.
3. On Match Day, the first game is played with only the CotC Starter Deck for that hero. On subsequent games, each player may remove up to 10 cards from the deck they used in the previous game and add up to 10 cards from Call of the Crystals, Dark Prophecies or Shattered Fates. No cards from Lost Lands may be used. All decks must be at least 40 cards. Players will have 5 minutes to make these updates between games. The winner is the first to win 3 games.
4. On the next Match Day, the winner of the previous Match Day stays on and a new opponent from those who have not yet played is randomly selected. Both players get random heroes again.
5. If the players for a Match aren't available for any reason, other players will be selected to step in. (The undefeated player can be "parked" temporarily to rejoin later if necessary.)
6. All decks used throughout will be posted on ShadowEra.com and Shadowera.net after each Match Day. All matches will be streamed on my GondorianDotCom channel and exported to YouTube afterwards.

Prizes at the end will be in the form of Pick-a-Card, based on number of match wins per player, which should make this a great way to fill out your collection with foils as well as showcasing your playing and deck-tweaking skills.
If you would like to take part, please reply below by the end of February, so I can start in March. If you want to give a reason why you should be one of the 20 players selected, feel free to do so.
