boris is a great hero to use. however its all up to how you wanna play. warriors are more into imobilizing enemy allies and attacking with weapons and there allies. so what i can say is that if you are into that playstyle then by all means go for it. there is also vess who really compliments the use of attachments.

If you want to buy starters and sell for gold to get other warrior cards, traditionally the shadow mage and elemental decks have best ROI.
