    [RS Seadog] LL3.16 Plague Zhanna

If you meet something like this on ladder, do not blame me :P

Trying to make a halfway playable plague deck, it turns out really nasty if you can stall till late game.

    Hero: Zhanna Mist

    Allies (13):
    4x Devoted Knight
    4x Tainted Oracle
    3x Mystic of the Vale
    2x Stalactitan

    Abilities (22):
    3x Retreat!
    3x Healing Touch
    4x Focused Prayer
    4x Zail's Hymn
    4x Plague
    4x Tidal Wave

    Items (8):
    4x Glass Chalice of Knowing
    4x Voice of Winter

    = 43 cards

This is a slow deck. You want to stall your opponent till run out of hand while you draw a lot.

    Early game:
Setup draw, look for Chalice. Try to sac every turn if you can. Stall with retreat and Zail’s Hymn. Play D. Knight and TO to give an impression of Tidal Wave. Most important of all: destroy opponent draw engine.

Mid game: Tidal wave + Voice of Winter should give you decent stall power. Retreat and Zail’s Hymn for anything getting off the frozen zone. Stalactitan as extra stall. Double Plague on T8 to give a nasty hit.

    Late game:
Mystic of the Vale on Zail's Hymn to create a lock. Healing Touch can help you to unfreeze an ally which can caught opponent offguard.

    Good matchup:
    Mid range ally deck.

    Bad matchup:
Mage burn, aggro heavy deck, Anmor’s Call deck.

Afterall, I would say it’s pretty fun for Plague lovers. Enjoy!

Looks like fun. I hope I don't end up playing against it.

I like this deck a lot. I use Jericho though because of all them Anmor Calls deck. Handy against warriors as well. And deck already has Healing Touches for emergency healing. I didnt get to use it this way but his ability might even come in handy to unfreeze my own allies. I am also trying out Garina Road to ease the curve a bit since most allies are 4cc. It can also serve as card draw. I am still to see how much it benefits opponents.

I have tried Jericho and works pretty much the same.

Garina Road doesn't seem necessary because of low ally count.

Some extra punch like The King's Pride would be a good addition to this deck tho.

i took this and made some changes

    -1 TO
    -1 Mystic
    -1 Focused Prayer

    +2 KP
    +1 Ressurection

KP to let you close the game faster, Res for the control mirror

cards removed are pretty much cause i feel those are the less needed ones. you could remove a knight instead, but the slight ramp makes a huge difference, and with kp out, a 5 4 for 3 is too good to pass up.

mystic is definitely the late game ally, so no need for more than 2 since you have a high chance of getting them.

sick deck though, super fun to play
